Bench-top model. Torque applied via a hand-wheel for reducing gear. Specimens are fixed with special chucks on both ends. Torque transducer is attached to the mobile crosshead that can move along a linear slide. Torsion angle is measured by optical encoder. The machine can be operated in two different modes; automatic  (all parameters are displayed when speciemn breaks) and manual (torque and torsion angle displayed in real-time; machine records the maximum torque
just before the specimen breaks) Both torque and torsion angle are indicated on a multi-function digital display equipped with a built-in thermal printer. The machine is suppied with a lever for calibration of torque, and necessary tools.
