MWS-SD Production of Hollow Bodies in a Fast Rotating Die

MWS SD - Edlabquip_img_27The kit represents casting methods with permanent mould, e.g. die casting, chill casting, .. , etc. Centrifugal casting with eutectic tin-lead alloy. Centrifugal casting machine is complete and ready to use. The contents of the kit are packed in a robust case. The kit comprises:
- Centrifugal casting machine with die, motor 230V/50Hz
- Grey cast iron, swivellable crucible with fire-clay lining; aluminium mounting for crucible
- Pouring ladle with 3kg eutectic tin-lead alloy (melting point 183°C)
- Parting medium
- Thermometer
- Worksheets for instructor and students.
